read my tutorial Terms. I used Paintshop Pro 7.04, and it should work
in other versions. You'll need a knowledge of Paintshop Pro to make this tutorial. Have fun

What you will need:
Paintshop Pro Here
Selections Download
Patterns Download.
Deco Download.

**Remember to Save Your Work Often!

Open up your patterns you downloaded in your workspace and minimize them for use in the steps their needed. Open up your candycane image also downloded and minimize that too :)

Open a New Image, 450x650, transparent, 16.7 million color.
**The Dropshadows you'll be using are the same only the Blurs Change.

BODY
1. New layer, name it body.
2. Selections/loadfromdisk/1-body.sel
3. Floodfill with Black
SELECT NONE. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.

BELLY
1. Selections/loadfromdisk/2-belly.sel
2. Floofill with White.
3. Selections/Invert
4. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow apply these settings:
VandH 0, Opacity 50, Blur 30.9, Color Black.
SELECT NONE.

ARMS
1. NEW layer, name it arms.
2. Selections/loadfromdisk/3-arms.sel. Floodfill with Black.
SELECT NONE.

HEAD
1. NEW layer, name it head.
2. Selections/loadfromdisk/4-head.sel
3. Floodfill Black
SELECT NONE. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.

FACE
1. Selections/loadfromdisk/5-face.sel
2. Floodfill White.
3. Selections/Invert
4. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow change only Blur to 19.8
SELECT NONE. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.

BEAK
1. Selections/loadfromdisk/6-beak.sel. Floodfill with Color #F5C931.
2. Selections/Invert
3. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow Change only the Blur to 11.1
SELECT NONE. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.

NOSTRILS
1. Selections/loadfromdisk/7-nostrils.sel. Floodfill with Color #CC9708.
SELECT NONE. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.

EYES
1. Selections/loadfromdisk/8-eyes.sel. Floodfill with Black.
2. Effects/3Deffects/InnerBevel Preset Round.
SELECT NONE. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.

CHEEKS
1. Selections/loadfromdisk/9-Cheeks.sel. Floodfill with Color #CF7D7D.
SELECT NONE.

HAT
1. NEW layer, name it hat.
2. Selections/loadfromdisk/10-hat.sel
3. Floodfill with blue dot pattern. Scale 100, Angle 0.
4. Selections/Invert.
5. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow Change only the Blur to 40.7
SELECT NONE. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.

HAT BRIM
1. Selections/loadfromdisk/11-hatbrim.sel
2. Floodfill with yellow speckle pattern. Scale 100, Angle 0.
3. Selections/Invert
4. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow Change only the Blur to 14.8
SELECT NONE. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.

TASSLE
1. Selections/loadfromdisk/12-tassle.sel
2. Floodfill with yellow speckle pattern. Scale 100, Angle 0.
3. Selections/Invert.
4. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow Change only the Blur to 9.9
SELECT NONE.

SCARF 1
1. NEW layer, name it scarf1.
2. Selections/loadfromdisk/13-scarf1.sel
3. Floodfill with blue dot pattern. Scale 100, Angle 0.
4. Selections/Invert.
5. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow Change only the Blur to 19.8
SELECT NONE. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.

SCARF 2
1. New layer, name it scarf2.
2. Selections/loadfromdisk/14-scarf2.sel
3. Floodfill with blue dot pattern. Scale 100, Angle 0.
4. Selections/Invert.
5. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow Change only the Blur to 29.6
SELECT NONE. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.

SCARF 3
1. Selections/loadfromdisk/15-scarf3.sel
2. Floodfill with blue dot pattern. Scale 100, Angle 0.
3. Selections/Invert.
4. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow Change only the Blur to 19.8
SELECT NONE.
5. Use your Mover Tool to postion it up against the head.

FEET
1. NEW layer, name it feet.
2. Selections/loadfromdisk/16-feet.sel
3. Floodfill with #F5C931
4. Selections/Invert.
5. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow Change only the Blur to 12.3
SELECT NONE.

MITTENS
1. New layer, name it mittens
2. Selections/loadfromdisk/17-mittens.sel
3. Floodfill with red mitten pattern. Scale 18, Angle 0.
4. Selections/Invert
5. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow Chang only the the Blur to 19.8
SELECT NONE.

CANDY CANE (OPTIONAL)
1. Activate your top layer by clicking on it.
2. Open the image of the candycane you downloaded.
3. Edit/Copy
3. Edit/Paste as new layer.
4. Name it "candycane".
5. Use your Mover Tool and move the candycane on top of your left mitten.
6. Drag this layer below your "mitten" layer.
7. Use your Mover Tool again to place it where you like.

FINISHING OFF
1. Because of the large size you may want to resize here.
2. Now you can add a layer, drag it to the bottom and make a background for your penguin.
Or you can Right Click on a layer, Merge/MergeVisible, and tube it up.
