Please read my tutorial terms. I used Paintshop Pro 7.04 to make this tutorial, and it should work in other versions. You'll need a knowledge of Paintshop Pro to make this tutorial. Have fun and enjoy :) What you'll need: Paintshop Pro trial version Here Selections Download Patterns Download Unzip your downloads into where you keep your files for your Paintshop Pro. Everybody has a different way of doing this, depending on what versions they are using. If you need a zip/unzip program you can get winzip Here **Save your work often! Open up a new image, 371x561 transparent. Boots 1. New layer, name it boots. 2. Selections/load from disk/1-boots.sel 3. Floodfill with eskimo boots fur pattern. Scale 100, Angle 0. Selections/Select None. Face 1. New layer, name it face. 2. Selections/load from disk/2-face.sel 3. Floodfill with Color #C9B99F Selections/Select None. Lips/Cheeks 1. New layer, name it lipscheeks. 2. Selections/load from disk/3-lipscheeks.sel 3. Floodfill with Color #B57575. Do this 2 times for a deeper color. Selections/Select None. Nose 1. New layer, name it nose. 2. Selections/load from disk/4-nose.sel 3. Floodfill with Color #A08A68 Selections/Select None. Hair/Eyes/Bootshade 1. New layer, name it haireyesbootshade. 2. Selections/load from disk/5-haireyesbootshade 3. Floodfill with the Color Black. Color #000000 Selections/Select None. Coat 1. New layer, name it coat. 2. Selections/load from disk/ 6-coat.sel 3. Floodfill with eskimo coat pattern. Scale 35, Angle 0. Selections/Select None. Sleeves 1. New layer, name it sleeves. 2. Selections/load from disk/7-sleeves.sel 3. Floodfill with eskimo coat pattern. Scale 10, Angle 0. Selections/Select None. Coat/Sleeve Shades 1. New layer, name it coatsleeveshades. 2. Selections/load from disk/8-coatsleeveshade.sel 3. Floodfill with Color #600606 Selections/Select None. Mittens 1. New layer, name it mittens. 2. Selections/load from disk/9-mittens.sel 3. Floodfill with eskimo boot fur pattern. Scale 100, Angle 0. Selections/Select None. Fur 1. New layer, name it fur. 2. Selections/load from disk/10-fur.sel 3. Floodfill with eskimo fur pattern. Scale 100, Angle 0. Selections/Select None. FINISHING 1. Activate your blank Layer 1 and add a background. If you used Layer 1 add a New Layer and drag it to the bottom, and add a background. OR: 2. You can Right Click on any layer in your layer pallette. Merge/Merge Visible. Go to File/Export and down the menu click on Picture tube. Type in the name you want for your image, and it will go to your picture tubes. I like making a lot of my work into picture tubes because I can make them the scale size I want and they always look nice. After you make your picture tube you can also save your image for later use.
