This tutorial is a creation of my own. Any resemblance to another is purely coincidental. I've
used techniques I've learned along the way and new ones as I learn. Please read my
terms
before doing my tutorial. I used Paintshop Pro X to make this tutorial, but will be compatible
with versions 8 and newer. This tutorial would be for the moderate beginner. I hope you enjoy
this tutorial as I have making it.

What you will need:
Paint Shop Pro if you don't have it you can get an evaluation copy

The mask I'm using for this tutorial I've collected along the way and lost who they belong to. If
it's yours please let me know so I can give the proper credits.

The images are in .psp image and you can unzip them into your images folder. Put your mask in
your mask folder. If you dont have a zip program you can get one
Here.

**Save your work often!!!!

1. Open up a New image. 600x600. Transparent.

2. Floodfill this layer with white and name it white (important for the ending of this tut).

3. Foreground Color #a6aa84. Background Color #ecdeb9. On your Foreground click on
gradient when the gradients open find and choose Foregroun/Background Angle 125, Repeats 1, and floodfill your image.

4. Layers/Load Save Mask/Load Mask From Disk and find the mask gabeemask29412. Check
Source luminance, Check Fit to canvas, Check Invert transparency, Check Hide all mask,
Load. Go to your layer palette and right click on this layer, Merge/Merge Group.

5. Effects/Texture effects/Blinds and apply: Width 4, Opacity 100, Color #849088, Horizontal
Checked. Light from left/top Checked. OK.

6. *Optional-Penta filter/Colored dots and apply: Value 196, distance 13, Color R 209, Color G
255, Color B 255. OK.

7. Open up your turkeymist.psp. Edit/Copy. Edit/Paste as a new layer. Use your mover tool to
place (see my finished image).

8. Open up your gatheringmist.psp. Edit/Copy. Edit/Paste as a new layer. Use your mover tool
to place (see my finished image).

9. Open up your pilgrimist.psp. Edit/Copy. Edit/Paste as a new layer. Use your mover tool to
place (see my finished image).

10. For my text I used the font Galeforce BTN, Size 30 pixels, Line Style Solid. I did each
word seperately to put on it's own image. Foreground Null. Background Color #5e604c.

**Optional if you want to leave your background white if not follow the next steps.

11. Shut off your white layer (the first one). Right click on your next layer. Merge/Merge
Visible. Now you should only have 2 layers. (the white shut off one, and the merged
thanksgiving one). Duplicate the thanksgiving layer and shut it off. Activate your original
thanksgiving layer of your image.

12. Effects/Texture effects/Fur and apply: Blur 100, Density 90, Length 11, Transparency 44,
OK. Now Duplicate this layer. Image/Mirror. Right click on this layer, Merge/Merge Down.
(now the 2 fur layers are 1).

13. Open up your Duplicate layer of your image.

14. Making sure your white layer is still shut off. Right click on the next layer. Merge/Merge
Visible. Image/Resize 80 percent, bi-cubic. Resize all layers UNchecked. Open up your white layer.

15. Use your mover tool to center your thanksgiving image as well as you can. Then use your
eraser tool set at round, Size 47, Hardness 50, Step 10, Density 100, Thickness 100, Rotation
0, Opacity 100, and just go around the edges to give it a little wavy look.

And that's it! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and may you and yours have a wonderful
Thanksgiving :)
