I wrote this tutorial using PSP X, but made it PSP 7 compatible so it will work in all versions.
Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental. Please read my
Terms The idea was mine, and the scrap kit was from Scrappy Expressions by Melissa. I've included screenshots in this tutorial and easy to do steps so that even the beginner with a working knowledge of PSP can do it and
advanced can have fun also. It may look long but I just write in detail. I hope you enjoy it :)

What you'll need:
A working version of Paint Shop Pro if you don't have one you can get a full trial version
HERE
The scrapkit

Heart Charms

Tube
DOWNLOAD I think I got this tube from a group, but can't remember if anybody
recognizes it please let me know so I can give the proper credit.

Open up a 700x600 transparent image. Flood Fill with White.

We will be copying and pasting from the kit. I use my Mover Tool and click on the item I need
from the kit instead of going to the layers, then I Edit/Copy and go to my image, and paste as a
new layer. I only show this in Step 1, from there on each step that's how I do it. Others go to
layers I just found this way to be a step quicker.

1. Open up your Scrapkit. Use your Mover tool and click on the solid turqoise paper (Paper 2).
Edit/Copy, minimize scrapkit, Edit/Paste as a new layer onto your new image. Image/Resize by
80 Percent, All layers UNchecked. Image/Rotate/Free Rotate, Left, 45.00. All layers UNchecked. Rotate single layer around canvas center Checked.

2. Restore Scrapkit. Pick out solid pink paper (Paper 4). Edit/Copy, minimize scrapkit,
Edit/Paste as a new layer onto your new image. Image/Resize by 80 Percent, All layers
UNchecked. Image/Rotate/Free Rotate, Right 20.00. All layers UNchecked. Rotate single layer around canvas center Checked. Layers/Load Save Mask/Load Mask from disk
and find Becky_Mask019. Check Source luminance, Check Fit to layer, Check Invert
transparency, Check Hide all mask. Load. Layer palette click on this layer, Right click,
Merge/Merge group. This is what it should look like now.

3. Restore Scrapkit. Pick out the turqoise frame (frame 1). Edit/Copy, minimize scrapkit,
Edit/Paste as a new layer onto your image. Image/Resize by 60. Just place it up and to the left a little for right now.

4. Restore Scrapkit. Pick out the pink frame (frame 2). Edit/Copy, minimize scrapkit, Edit/Paste
as a new layer onto your image. Image/Resize by 60. This is what you should have now

.

5. Activate the layer your turqoise frame 1 is on. Open up your animatgirl.psp image.
Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer. Place her like you see in the screenshot.

Now come the little tricky part, we're going to get rid of
some of the pink frame so it looks like she's popping out, it's easier than it sounds. You can
either use your freehand tool or your eraser tool for this step the screenshots below show the
settings to apply. Now Activate your Pink Frame layer, and turn the opacity down to 65 this
way it makes it easier to see where to erase the frame. See the screenshot or my finished image
so you have an idea of what to erase. When your finished put the opacity back up to 100.

6. Restore Scrapkit. Pick out the pink journaling 2. Edit/Copy, minimize scrapkit, Edit/ Paste as
a new layer onto your image. Image/Resize 60 all layers UNchecked. Image/Rotate/Free Rotate, Left
20.00, All layers UNchecked, Rotate single layer around canvas center Checked. OK. The first screenshot is what it should look like for placement. Go to this layer in your layer palette and drag it to between your turqoise paper layer, and pink paper layer. Now it should look like this.

7. Activate your top layer. Restore Scrapkit. Pick out the turqoise journaling 1. Edit/Copy, minimize scrapkit, Activate your top layer in the layer palette then, Edit/ Paste as a new layer onto your image. Image/Resize 60, all layers UNchecked. Image/Rotate/Free Rotate, Right 20.00, All layers UNchecked, Rotate single layer around canvas center Checked. OK. Go to your layer palette and drag this layer to above your pink journaling paper. This is what your image should look like now.

8. Restore Scrapkit. Pick Turqoise/flower1. Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resize
by 80, All layers UNchecked. Move up towards the right top corner

9. Restore Scrapkit. Pick TurqoisePink/flower2. Edit/Copy, minimize scrapkit, Edit/Paste as a
new layer. Image/Resize by 60, All layers UNchecked. Move in the middle of your turqoise
flower. This is what your image should look like now with both flowers.

10. Open up your SE_Charms_Heart_6. Edit/Copy, minimize hearts, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
Image/Resize by 80, All layers UNchecked. Use your Mover tool and place so that the silver
bead is set at the 3rd silver bead as showen in the screenshot. This is what you should have
now for your image.

11. Restore Scrapkit. Pick the pins. Edit/Copy, minimize scrapkit, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
Image/Rotate, Left 20.00 All layers UNchecked, Rotate single layer around canvas center Checked. Move the pins onto the flowers as it shows in the screenshot below. Use your eraser tool to erase some of each pin to give it the stuck in the bow look.

12. Now you can add any other embellishments and text you want to add your own touch. When your done you'll want to add a white background. Merge/Merge Visible the layers, and then resize to your liking.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you have any questions please email me.
