
This tutorial is a creation of my own. Any resemblance to another is purely coincidental.
I've used techniques I've learned along the way and new ones as I learn. Please read my Terms before doing my tutorial. I used Paintshop Pro X to make this tutorial, but will be compatible with versions 8 and newer. You will need to have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro to do this tutorial. My tutorials may seem lengthy, but I try to write them so even the moderate beginner can be able to do them as well as the more advanced. I hope you enjoy :) What you will need: Paint Shop Pro if you don't have it you can get an evaluation copy Here .psp image Download Masks Download Selection Download The images and mask I've collected along the way and lost who they belong to. If it's yours please let me know so I can give the proper credits. Unzip the image and mask download to where you keep your psp images. Unzip the selection to your Selection folder. If you dont have a zip program you can get one Here. **Save your work often!!!! 1. Open up a New Image. 500x500. Transparent. Floodfill with White. 2. Make your Foreground Color #707ead. Background Color #a4b3dc. Keep your Foreground the Solid color. On your background choose gradient. Find Foreground/Background. Angle 118, Repeats 1, Style is Linear (the first box). 3. New layer. Selections/load save selection/load selections from disk and choose 3filmframe. Foreground Color #707ead. Floodfill your film frames. Now toggle your gradient background to be your foreground. Selections/Modify/Contract by 5 and floodfill with your gradient. Selections/Select None. 4. Hold down your SHIFT key and click in the middle of your film frames with your magic wand. Selections/Modify/Expand by 3. Add a new layer and drag it below your film frames layer. Keep Selected. 5. Floodfill with your gradient. Effects/Texture effects/Sandstone and apply: Blur 26, Detail 150, Luminance 12, Angle 45, Color White. OK. Keep Selected. 6. Open up your blondeinJeans~Craziii$hortiii Image. Edit/Copy, Edit/Past Into Selection. Selections/Invert. Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow and apply: Vertical and Horizontal both 0, Opacity 100, Blur 30.00, Color Black. Selections/Select None. 7. Activate your top layer. Open up your Girl Image again. Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resize by 70 percent, bi-cubic, Resize all layers UNchecked. Place your girl where I have mine in my finished image. 8. Activate your White background. Add a New Layer. Floodfill it with your gradient changing the Repeats to 6 the rest stays the same. Image/Resize by 90 percent, bi-cubic, Resize all layer UNchecked. 9. Open up the 0.121-wicked mask. Minimize the mask. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image and apply: Source window find 0.121-wicked, Source luminance Checked, Invert mask data Checked. OK. Layer palette/Merge/Merge Group. 10. *Stay on the same layer. Open up the butterfly-zigzag.msk. Minimize the mask. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image and apply: Source window find 0.121-wicked, Source luminance Checked, Invert mask data Checked. OK. Layer palette/Merge/Merge Group. 11. Now just add some text, resize, and add your watermark :) And that's it!
