This tutorial is a creation of my own. Any resemblance to another is purely coincidental.
I've used techniques I've learned along the way and new ones as I learn. Please read my Terms before doing my tutorial. I used Paintshop Pro X to make this tutorial, but will be compatible with versions 8 and newer. You will need to have a good working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro to do this tutorial. My tutorials may seem lengthy, but I try to write them so even the moderate beginner can be able to do them as well as the more advanced. I hope you enjoy this tutorial as I have making it. Most of all have fun and enjoy :) What you will need: Paint Shop Pro if you don't have it you can get an evaluation copy Here .psp images Download Mask Download The Mask we are using is from Bunny's Attic. Thank you Ginny for sharing your wonderful work :) The image I've collected along the way and lost who they belong to. If it's yours please let me know so I can give the proper credits. The image is in .psp image and you can unzip them into your images folder. The Mask goes into your mask folder of your PSP. If you dont have a zip program you can get one Here **Save your work often!!!! 1. Open up a New Image, 500x500, Transparent. Floodfill with White. 2. For my gradient my Foreground is Color #f3ccc9. My Background is Color #be9190. I have my gradient Style set at Radial the 4th button with the little line in it. Angle 119, Repeats 3, Horizontal 50, Vertical 50, OK. If you use a different tube pick out 2 colors that would make a nice gradient to match it. Flood fill your image. 3. Layers/Load Save Mask/ Load Mask From Disk and find gh-grundgeframe2mask.bunny's-attic. Check Source luminance, Check Fit to layer, Check Invert transparency, Check Hide all mask, Load. Go to your layer palette. Merge/Merge Group. Adjust/Add remove noise/Add Noise and apply: Check Gaussian, Check Monochrome, Noise 5. OK. 4. Open up your littlegirl5.psp image. Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer. Duplicate this layer and shut it off. Go back to the original layer of the girl. Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur, set to 11.00 Effects/Textures Effects/Soft Plastic and apply: Blur 100, Detail 14, Density 12, Angle 45, Color White, OK. 5. Selection Tool, Rectangle, Feather 0. You'll see your blur went on the white of the frame, make a rectangle and select the area where there is run over from your blur, hit Delete. 6. Open your Duplicate layer back up of your little girl. 7. Open up your stardreamer.text, Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer or add your own text :) And that's it! I hope you enjoyed my tutorial as I did writing it :) Debbie September 26, 2007 Copyright© 2001-2007 Kreative-Expressionz |
