This tutorial was purely imagination playing around. Any resembalance to anothers
is purely coincidental. I wrote this tutorial with PSP X, but it will work in
PSP 8 and Newer, and should work in PSP 7. The embellishments I made myself and
are PSP 7 compatible. The tube I have no idea where I got it. If any one knows
please let me know so I can give that person credit for this tube. I wrote this
tutorial very detailed so even the moderate beginner can try it. I also have
a lot of screen shots and it looks very long, but is actually very easy :) Please
read my TERMS before you do this tutorial. This is a good learning tutorial. Making rick rack,
using halftone, Merge/Down, texture, brightness/contrast, making the heart pin
look stuck through material. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and happy creating
:) What you'll need: A copy of Paint shop Pro a trial version is HERE Tube/Embellishments/background DOWNLOAD A Zip program to unzip the files HERE Unzip your tube/embellishments to wherever you keep your images. **Remember to save your work often! 1. Open up your flower pin. Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer. Place it on the left hand toward bottom of your image with your mover tool. See my finished image on top. Now we're going to erase part of the pin. Use your Eraser tool and apply the settings in the screenshot. And then the look at the screenshot so you can see where to erase . After you've erased, go to your very first layer which is the background. Use your lighten/darken tool. It's nested inside the tool right under the paint brush. Click on the side that's dark. (see screenshot) Apply the settings in the screenshot. Where you erased your pin you want to darken a line on each side where it's erased to give your background a raised look like a pin stuck through material (duh me of course that's what it would look like ) lol. We're almost done now :) 12. Open up your flower charm. Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer. Drag this layer above your frame layer, but below your flower layer. (See screenshot in the next step for placement). 13. Activate your top layer. Open up your flower bears tube. Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer. Use your mover tool to place it. This is what you should have after adding your charm and tube. 14. Add your text. This is what I did in the Screen shot. I used the font New Romantics. Materials Palette Foregound is Null, Background Color #515567. I grabbed my vector text on the sides and stretched the sides out to fit the empty space better. Layer/Convert to Raster layer. Now you can just add dropshadows. This I'll leave up to you.everybody has his/her own way they like :) Just go to Effects/3Deffects/Dropshadow and apply what you like. Click on your layers to activate them and add your shadow :) I hope you enjoyed this tutorial :) Please email me if you have any questions.
