This tutorial is a creation of my own. Any resemblance to
another is purely coincidental. No copyright infrigments are intended. I've used techniques I've learned along the way and new ones as I learn. Please read my Terms before doing my tutorial. I used Paintshop Pro X to make this tutorial, but will be compatible with versions 8 and newer. You will need to have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro to do this tutorial. My tutorials may seem lengthy, but I try to write them so even the moderate beginner can be able to do them as well as the more advanced. Many of the steps are repetitive. I hope you enjoy :) What you will need: Paint Shop Pro if you don't have it you can get an evaluation copy Here Supplies Here Simple Filters Here *Optional you can also just duplicate the flowers. Mask Here The scrap kit I used for this tutorial is from Swheats Creations she has a fantastic blog and there is a lot more to this scrap kit and it can be found at her blog the name of it is Polly Wog And Friends Lilly Pond. The mask I've collected along the way or got from a group. Please keep it in contact. If it's yours please let me know so I can give the proper credits. The scraps used for this tutorial are in are in .png format but work in PSP. image and you can unzip them into your images folder. If you dont have a zip program you can get a trial Here. **Save your work often!!!! **We'll be movng the images around. You can look at my finished image at the top for placement. And in the end you can re-move everything until you have everything where you want it** 1. Open up a New Image. 600x600. Transparent. Flood Fill with White. 2. Open up the GrnPlaidFrame image. Edit/Copy. Edit/Paste as a new layer. 3. Activate your White layer this should be your very first layer. Open the GrnPlaidBkg. Edit/Copy. Edit/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resize by 16 percent, bi-cubic, Resize all layers UNchecked. *Stay on this layer. 4. Layer/Load Save Mask/Load Mask From Disk and choose the Mask-Edge111-SHVC. SourceLuminance Checked, Fit to layer Checked, Invert Transparency Checked, Hide all mask Checked. Load. Layer palette right click on this layer/Merge/Merge Group. 5. Activate your top layer. Open up the PollyWogFrog image. Edit/Copy. Edit/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resize by 45 percent, bi-cubic, Resize all layers UNchecked. Move it to where mine is in the finished image at the top. 6. Open up the PollyWog image. Edit/Copy. Edit/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resize by 30 percent, bi-cubic, Resize all layers UNchecked. Move this to the right and up some from the lilly pad polly wog. 7. Open up the FriendsWords. Image/Resize by 25 percent, bi-cubic, Resize all layers UNchecked. Move this to the bottom of your frame as seen in my finished image on top.. 8. Open up the DkPinkFlower image. Edit/Copy. Edit/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resize by 30 percent, bi-cubic, Resize all layers UNchecked. Move the flower to the top left corner of the frame. You can either duplicate the flower 3 more times and move them to each corner/OR you can use Simple Filters/top left mirror and and the 1 flower will turn into all flowers in the corners like magic :) 9. Open up the CoralPlaidDotBow image. Edit/Copy. Edit/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resizeby 30 percent, bi-cubic, Resize all layers UNchecked. Image/Free Rotate, Check right, Check free, Enter 20.00, All layers and Rotate single layer around canvas center are both UNchecked. OK. Move the bow to the top middle of the frame. 10. Activate your "Polly Wog" layer. Open up the Flamingo image. Edit/Copy. Edit/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resize by 60 percent, bi-cubic, Resize all layers UNchecked. Move the flamingo to the bottom left and over just above the wordart. 11. Now just scroll up to the top finished image of mine. Now you can make a final move of anything that might need some adjusting in placement. Resize to your liking and add a watermark. And that's it!
