This tutorial is my own creation. Any resemblance to another is purely coincidental. Please
read my tutorial Terms. I used Paintshop Pro 9 to make this tutorial. It will work in versions 8
and newer. You'll need a knowledge of Paintshop Pro to make this tutorial. The scrap kit I used
is from Scrappy Expressions. Thank you Melissa for another fantastic scrap kit :)


What you will need:
Paint Shop Pro. You can get a trial version HERE
Scrap kit DOWNLOAD
Image/Pattern DOWNLOAD
Zip Program. You can get a trial version HERE

Unzip the scrap kit folder where you keep images or into a temp folder.
Unzip the image, and pattern where you keep your images.

1. Open up a new image, 600x600, transparent image.

2. Choose Paper 3 (the plaid one). Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.

3. Choose Frame. Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resize by 90 percent,        
Resampling Checked, choose bicubic, All layers UNchecked. Center your frame on your        
paper as good as possible.

4. Activate your paper3 layer. Use your selection tool         set at rectangle, feather 0. On the inside   of your frame Start at your top right corner and drag it down selecting the inside of the frame.
  (See screenshot). Effects/Reflection Effects/Pattern and apply the settings in the     
screenshot.Selections/Select None. STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.






















5. Effects/Reflection effects/Feedback and apply the settings in the screenshot. (See my finished image at the top to see the effect). STAY ON THE SAME LAYER.






















6. Choose the Ribbon. Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer, for now just move it in the middle 
    inside your frame.

7. Open up the asian girl image. Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer. Move her if you need to, 
    to center her in the frame.

8. Activate your top layer. Choose the Charm (with the ribbon on it). Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a
    new layer. Image/Rotate, Free rotate, Right 20.00, All layers UNchecked, Rotate single layer 
    around canvas center Checked. OK. Use your mover tool and place it at the corner of the     
   frame at the top right. This is what your image should look like now.
















9. Activate your paper3 layer. Add a new layer. Choose goldbeadpattern download. Make this  
    pattern your foreground. Angle 0, Scale 100, background is Null. Preset Shape Rectangle, Anti-alias Checked. Retain and Vector UNchecked. line style Solid, Width 8. Draw out a rectangle see the screenshot.















10. Effects/Distortion effects/Wave and apply: Both Amplitudes 1, Both Wavelength 1, Check  
     Transparent. OK.

11. Now you can just add more embellishments of Melissa's to your liking (this is always the     
     fun part :)

12. I added text to my Charm. The font I used is Beautiful ES. Size 36. My forground was Null.
     My background was Color #273a4b.

Now add a white background or color you choose. Click on a layer in the palette. Merge/Merge Visible and resize to your liking :)
