
This tutorial is a creation of my own. Any resemblance to another
is purely coincidental. No copyright infrigments are intended. Please read my Here before doing my tutorial. I used Paintshop Pro X to make this tutorial, but will be compatible with versions 8 and newer. You will need to have a working knowledge of PSP to do this tutorial. My tutorials may seem lengthy, but I try to write them so even the moderate beginner can be able to do them. What you will need: Paint Shop Pro if you don't have it you can get an evaluation copy Here .psp Image Here Gradient Here Texture Here The image and other materials I've used, I collected along the way or got from a group. Please keep it in contact. If it's used yours please let me know so I can give the proper credits. Unzip the image into your PSP image folder. Unzip your mask into your PSP mask folder. **Save your work often!!!! SS Gingarbread (put this in your Textures file in PSP) JSC Chocolatte (put this in your Gradients file in PSP) 1. Open up a new image. 700 x 500. Transparent. 2. Instead of a solid color choose, "Gradient". Find the gradient you dowwnloaded "JSC Chocolate. Angle 314. Repets 0. Invert Checked. Style Linear (the first one). OK. Flood fill your layer. 3. Open up the picture "Beautiful Maiden" you downloaded. Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer. 4. Duplicate this layer. Drag this to below the original 1st layer. Slide this layer over to the right (your bottom layer will show in the middle now). Adjust/blur/motion/Angle 256/Strength 100. OK. Duplicate this layer, Image/Flip. Move it too the left of the center. Click on the right of your mouse on the top of the 2 layers. Merge/ Merge down. 5. Go back to step 3. Duplicate this layer 4 times which will give you a total of 5 times. Right click on the top layer, Merge/Merge down. Do this for a total of times and it should all be on 1 layer. Name this layer "beautiful maiden". 6. Stay on this layer you just maid. Effects/Artist effects/Halftone and apply: Halftone pattern = Line. Size = 10. Screen angles = 1. 90 Use as overlay = Checked. Blend mode = Normal. Opacity = 20 Color sceee = Check Grayscale. Ink = Black. Background = Blank. Transparent = Checked. 7. Click on your top layers (click on the right side). Merge/Merge Visible. 8. Effects/Texture effects/Texture and apply: Texture = SK Gingerbread Size = 70 Snoothness = 0 Depth = 5 Ambience = 0 Shininess = 0 Color = White Angle = 135 Intensity = 50 Elevation = 29 OK. 9. You can leave your image like this, or add your own frame. The next steps are what I like to do. 10. Image/Add Border and apply: Original Dimensions is Pixels, Color White, Size in pixels all will be 10, Symmetric Checked. OK. 11. Make your foreground the silver bead pattern. Angle 0, Scale 100 and floodfill. Choose "Pattern" instead of gradient you used in the previous steps. Fill the white frame. And that's it!
